We are looking for an experienced Data Process Lead to support data migration, data quality, and data governance activities for a large-scale SAP environment.
The Data Process Lead will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy, security, and effective use of organizational data. The role will work with limited supervision to support data policies, manage data quality, ensure regulatory compliance, and contribute to data architecture and data literacy initiatives.
The successful candidate will act as the primary liaison for data migration activities and work closely with business owners, functional teams, and IT teams to ensure successful data migration and data integrity.
Serve as the primary liaison for end-to-end data migration activities, from data profiling through validation.
Analyze legacy data to identify data gaps, enrich datasets, and establish data mapping rules aligned with SAP S/4HANA models.
Lead data workshops with business and technical stakeholders to clarify requirements and resolve data discrepancies.
Establish and maintain data standards across migration activities.
Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation, including data mapping templates, workflows, and migration-related documentation.
Lead end-to-end data migration activities, including data conversion, validation, and reconciliation.
Ensure migrated data maintains a high level of accuracy and integrity.
Work closely with business owners, SAP functional teams, and IT teams to define requirements and resolve migration issues.
Identify and mitigate data migration risks and proactively resolve roadblocks.
Support the development and implementation of data policies and processes.
Contribute to data architecture and initiatives that improve data literacy and decision-making.
Location: Tanah Abang, Central Jakarta, Indonesia
Working Arrangement: On-site
Candidates must be willing to work from the office in Tanah Abang, Central Jakarta.
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent professional experience.
Minimum 3 years of relevant professional experience.
Hands-on experience with SAP data migration.
Experience with at least one complete SAP S/4HANA implementation cycle is an added advantage.
Broad understanding of SAP modules such as FI/CO, MM, PP, SD, and PM.
Good understanding of underlying business processes and data dependencies across SAP modules.
Familiarity with data engineering concepts, including ETL/ELT processes, data pipelines, data transformation, data integration, and data quality management.
Understanding of how data is extracted from legacy systems, transformed, validated, and loaded into target systems.
Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
Experience with VBA and/or other data analysis tools.
Strong data analysis, problem-solving, and reconciliation skills.
Strong documentation and data mapping capabilities.
Good stakeholder management and communication skills.
Fluent in English and Indonesian for regional collaboration.
Willing to work on a contract basis.
Willing to work on-site at the office in Tanah Abang, Central Jakarta.
Familiarity with DAMA-DMBOK or data management frameworks.
Ability to communicate in Bahasa/Malay, particularly for collaboration with teams in Indonesia.
Demonstrated experience delivering results on medium- to large-scale initiatives.
Experience working with cross-functional business, SAP functional, and IT teams.
Strong understanding of data governance, data quality, and data standardization practices.
